Wrought Iron Manufacturing Process

Acculink Fence and Wire uses only the highest grade of raw materials to manufacture both our residential and commercial lines of decorative steel fencing. All panels are made from Galvalume™ steel, which offers excellent protection against corrosion. Galvalume steel is steel sheet coated with an alloy consisting of approximately 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon, by weight. The Galvalume™ coating is applied by the continuous hot-dip process and offers the best qualities of zinc coated (galvanized) and aluminum coated (aluminized) steel.

Each panel is welded together using stainless steel wire, in order to ensure maximum resistance from the effects of nature and various climatic conditions. This product is designed and welded in such away to prevent water from settling on or within the panel, thus further extending the life of each fence.

Once assembled, our fence panels are e-coated and then powder coated with a polyester paint technique. The e-coating process is a primer coat which fully covers the panels before the final finish is applied, which has been shown to substantially increase the durability of the product. The final powder coating is electrostatically applied and baked on in a high temperature oven to provide a maintenance free, glossy finish that is resistant to scratching and has excellent colour retention properties.

By following this manufacturing process, Acculink Fence & Wire Inc. can put forth out 10 year limited warranty with confidence, providing a durable yet maintenance free fencing solution to all of our customers, large and small alike.

Chain Link Wire Mesh Manufacturing Process

Acculink Fence & Wire Inc. uses the most modern of equipment to ensure the highest quality in our chain link wire mesh. In our manufacturing process we use galvanized strand wire from Canadian and overseas sources, and apply a heavy mill coating of P.V.C. (poly vinyl chloride) by an extrusion process.

We purchase P.V.C. pellets in a variety of colours, including Black, Brown, White, Green, Clear, Beige, Blue, or Safety Yellow, and we can also create or match our own colours through a batch mixing process. The extruded coloured wire is then woven in a variety of heights, gauges, and diamond sizes.

We also provide mesh in a Galvanized finish, with zinc content of 0.8 ounce, 1.2 ounce 1.6 ounce, and 2.0 ounce per square foot. Standard 1.2 ounce raw materials are always in stock, with the other specialized coatings available at short notice.

Our machinery is capable of weaving mesh in heights between 1 to 12 feet, and in thicknesses of 13 gauge to 4 gauge. Most wire can be woven with diamond openings from just 1 inch wide, along with 1 ¼”, 1 ½”, 1 ¾ ”, 2”, 2 ¼ ”, and up to 2 ½” in diameter.

By using advanced equipment and the highest quality of raw materials, Acculink Fence & Wire Inc. works diligently to produce an excellent final product for all of its customers, that always meets or exceeds all accepted Canadian standards.
